Do aliens walk among us?
It seems like since the Coronavirus outbreak, each month has had a special event to add on to the craziness, but April had an especially exciting discovery that was revealed to the whole world: leaked footage of a UFO sighting from the Pentagon.
The fascination of other societies in our universe has been going around since 190 AD when Lucian of Samosata, who was an Assyrian satirist, wrote a novel that told a story about traveling to the moon and discovering alien life. Of course, humans went on the moon in the ‘60s and didn’t stumble upon any living things, just craters. In 1639, a man named John Winthrop also recorded that he had seen an alien, but no real evidence.
Recently, the Pentagon released three videos to the public that show unidentified flying objects that look like they may contain another life. The videos have been circulating since 2007, and continued in 2017.
According to BBC, the Pentagon said, “After a thorough review, the department has determined that the authorized release of these unclassified videos does not reveal any sensitive capabilities or systems, and does not impinge on any subsequent investigations of military air space incursions by unidentified aerial phenomena.”
There’s been leaked footage over the decades, like in 2004 when two navy pilots filmed a round object hovering above the Pacific ocean. Since then, there has been more leaked footage that made its way to the New York Times, but no one has made a very big deal out of it.
According to the Pentagon, there isn’t much to worry about. It isn’t much to be surprised about either. A never-ending space that only contains us humans? Sounds hard to believe, but we won’t know until we meet the aliens that we’ve been questioning about for millions of years.
