On Saturday December 1st Fargo North took on Bismarck demons at Fargo Davies. Senior Alexis smith, Sophie Cody, Maddy England and Kaylee leabo as well as junior Jennie Sem took the floor as the competitions starters.

The game was off to a slow start against the highly rated Bismarck team, the score being 1-11 within the first 5 minutes. The half ended at a score of 16-47, and Fargo North needed to start limiting defensive and offensive rebounds, with Bismarck grabbing 17 offensive and 18 defensive rebounds. The second half was looking much better for Fargo north, scoring 21 points.

To end the game Maddy England went 3-9 from the three point line, as well as making all four of her free throws. Senior Morgan Kommer also did well today, going 3-8 in the field goal category, as well as 2 offensive rebounds. Sophie Cody was the ultimate defensive rebound grabber, grabbing 7 rebounds as well has scoring 3 points. Junior Jennie Sem was all over them on defense, getting 6 steals in favor for the Spartans, as well as getting 5 rebounds. The next game for the Spartans will be at Grand Forks Central on December 11th.
