To start off, I would actually recommend this restaurant to many, if not all, people. There is a very large menu with a wide variety of foods and it has items for everyone. In general, I am not a very picky eater, but I do know many picky eaters, and I would definitely recommend this to them too. Despite the restaurant being new, the menu is very large and has a lot to offer. GP’s Greek Kitchen has a very chill, relaxing atmosphere and it feels very warm and welcoming.
They have basic kids menu food like chicken strips and french fries, but also have many authentic Greek dishes. The featured dish on the menu is the gyro. A gyro is a large piece of pita bread with different types of meat, grilled veggies, sometimes cheese, and some sort of sauce that is sometimes wrapped around itself. It can sometimes be served on smaller, individual pieces of pita too. There are six different gyro variations including the “old fashioned” (the one I had), they have the restaurants take on a gyro (which is called the GP’s), a meat lovers version, a spicy version, and another variation called Mandy’s Chicken which has onions, peppers, barbeque sauce and hot sauce on it. The menu also holds classic Greek style sandwiches, appetizers, soups and salads, combo platters and there are many types of sides from basic french fries to chicken souvlaki. There are also all the basic beverage options including Coke and Pepsi products, water, and some more.
GP’s Greek Kitchen is very vegetarian and vegan friendly. Since the restaurant is based around Mediteranean food, vegetables and healthier options are a big part of the menu since they have such a big influence on the food in Greece itself.
The restaurant has pretty good hours. It is open from 11am-9pm on Mondays-Saturdays and is closed on Sundays. It opened in December of 2018 and is located on 2553 Kirsten Ln S in a strip mall where it shares its storefront with 9 Round and Verizon. If you’re ever craving a variety of different flavors and food, GP’s Greek Kitchen is the place to go.
